Recruitment
In 1959 when Alpha Gamma Gamma decided to go national, there was no doubt they would go for the best - and their choice was Beta Theta Pi. Since 1959, over 1150 Betas have continued this tradition of excellence. Year after year, Betas excel in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in all other Greek events. Most important, however, is Betas' strong brotherhood. Recruitment is an attempt to find a group of men who will continue to build on the fine tradition of Beta Theta Pi. Ultimately the recruit, you, is what makes our chapter of Beta Theta Pi strong and spirited.

The Delta Gamma Chapter takes recruitment very seriously and we never stop. Without recruitment the life expectancy of any fraternity is near to none. We as Betas take pride in every member that is initiated and encourage the men who are interested in the fraternity life strongly look into Beta Theta Pi. Beta Theta  Pi and the Delta Gamma Chapter uses many techniques in the process of recruitment. A few are:

Recruitment through scholarship- This process is where potential Betas are eligible to sign up and receive scholarships ranging from $500 to $3,000. Although this is one of our most popular forms of recruitment sometimes the scholarships have requirements that have to be met to obtain them.

Recruitment through events- In college there are many events around campus and as Betas we like to stay involved. This recruitment technique is popular around our house and whether it is a Shocker game or philanthropy event there will be a group of Betas in attendance. Recruitment through events provides plenty of opportunities for potential future Betas to see our fraternity house, its members, and the events around campus.

Recruitment through active/alumni members- With the number of members available we constantly have contact with most of their friends. A numerous amount of our members are introduced to the fraternity scene through active and alumni members bringing them around the house and some events. Whether it be a sand volleyball tournament or just a gathering of a few members we constantly encourage friends of our members to come visit our house and the members of our fraternity.
