The Delta Gamma chapter takes a lot of pride in philanthropic events. We hold a philanthropy volleyball tournament every fall called Beta Bash. The proceeds of this event are given to a locally operated organization called Victory in the Valley. We have held other events such as a 3 VS 3 soccer tournament supporting the same organization. Beta has participated in many activities around campus as well. We have participated in events such as a Dodge n' Dive, Anchor Splash, and a 3 VS 3 basketball tournament. These events support woderful organizations such as St. Judes childrens research hospital and Heathers Camp for the visually impaired.
We are continually looking for new ways to help others and those in need. Several Beta's have donated not only money, but time as well. We have spent hundreds of hours working with several different organizations. We have donated time to the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and the American Red Cross. Many of our community service hours have come from on gentleman specifically. Tristan Anderson has donated over 100 hours on his own as a volunteer football coach. As Beta's we show a strong commitment to the community and try to share our time, talents, and funds will other organizations in need.
